That database, those files, all those pictures you’ve taken. I was surprised when a picture of mine was featured on utata.org in regards to file backup and organization.
Tagging your photos on your hard drive is equally as important as tagging your photos when you upload them to photo sharing sites like flickr or smugmug.
Most people who are diligent do this already, but there are those of us who get busy with the day-to-day routine, and don’t necessarily take the time to do so.
For the first time ever, I backed up this blog. I’m rather proud of myself, as I also manually installed the WP upgrade, versus having it automatically upgraded via a plugin. (It isn’t compatible beyond 2.6. Had to learn some day!)
